Ease of Assembly

Owners found the directions were clear and simple to follow. They say that the set up was time consuming but fairly easy and that all of the parts aligned properly. It is recommended that this garden shed be anchored to a concrete pad or a foundation of pressure treated wood. It is very important that the foundation be level. Instructions for the wood foundation are in the manual, but some owners prefer to have a cement pad poured for greater durability. One owner described the assembly process as  “it’s simple putting pieces together, like the doors and gables… like putting a huge puzzle together.”

Assembly takes anywhere from 4-12 hours for two people, after the foundation has been done.  One person can do the assembly alone, but it will take 10-12 hours, not counting foundation time. Hint: You can have a mason pour a cement slab for you and then assemble the garden shed yourself.

They commented they “get anywhere from 5-36″ of snow at a time and have not had a problem. However, if the snow is especially high and wet we have brushed off the roof.” while another said, “It has held up 4-6 inches of snow without issue and the snow sluffs off rather quickly”.
